Blessings in a Backpack
Blessings in a Backpack is a school-year program that benefits children right here in beautiful downtown Walkersville. Specific food items are brought in by our children and support low-income families as part of an after-school program offered by Glade Elementary. Making a weekly donation is a wonderful way for children to learn compassion, sharing and the importance of community.
Currently the items we are in need of donating are:
- Cans of Tuna
- Ramen Noodles
- Macaroni and Cheese
- Canned Corn
- Canned Green Beans
